A heavily-illustrated textbook for grammar schools. “Later” in this case is the period from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War. There’s also a chapter tacked on to the end about four major industries in the U.S.: Cotton, Wheat, Cattle-Raising, and Coal.
This is one of our oldest projects — started long before I realized it would be best to have the images fully ready for post-processing before the project started at DP. It took a very long time to get the 152 images into shape, but I’m happy with how they turned out (most of them — the former owner of this 5th grade textbook was a little scribble-happy).
