The Story of Louise, Crown Princess, by Henry W. Fischer. Bensonhurst, NY: Fischer’s Foreign Letter Inc. 1912.
illustrated with photographs
series: Secret Memoirs: the Court of Royal Saxony (1891-1902)
Princess Louise of Saxony (sister to Archduke Ferdinand) created quite a scandal when she left her husband (Crown Prince Frederick of Saxony) for her children’s French tutor (M. Giron). These pages are puportedly written by her, but she’s not given any authorial credit.
Henry W(illiam) Fischer (1856-1932) has no presence on the web. However, according to the Library of Congress, he published other “secret histories” of German courts and royalty. His introduction indicates he had no love for monarchies.
