This series of 20? volumes combines tracts published by the Chambers brothers. I think these articles are likely from their magazine, and are a precursor to their encyclopedia. And people think that Martha Stewart invented “repurposing.”
Take careful note of the title, as it is similar to Chambers’s Miscellany of Instructive and Entertaining Tracts, a “new and revised” edition published in 1872. The books have the tracts in different orders, with varying amounts of revision.
