Told on the Pagoda: Tales of Burmah, by Mimosa. (Pseudonym of Mabel Mary Agnes Cosgrove Chan Toon) London: T Fisher Unwin, 1895.
A few short Burmese tales. Mrs. Chan Toon was purportedly a childhood friend of Oscar Wilde. This book is mentioned in For the Love of the King, which by some accounts was produced (forged is a word some people use) by Mrs. Chan Toon, though credited to Wilde.
Because it’s so pretty, I’ve included a detail from the front cover (imagine it is embossed gold on forest green).
