I have no idea what they would be worth — my husband buys them and I catalog them If I do look up prices, I usually check ABEBooks and BookFinder, taking into account that the prices listed there are for unsold books.

I have a 1904 Laird & Lee’s Vest Pocket Webster Dictionary For Constant Use and would like to know what it is worth in good condition with cover. I also have a 1860 bible – The Treasury of The Sacred Heart (abridged from the larger work – Dublin: Charles Eason without cover but other than that all in tact.

I have a copy of this book. My father in law, George Walter gave it to me when I went to work for Harris Seybold in NY. I am 87 Years old. Red Frazier Who is 90

I am in possesion of what I believe to be one of the origional copies
of System of Water-Colour Painting.
number4. Printer….William Clowes, Duke St,S.E,. AND Great
Windmill St.W UK.
The front cover has come off, otherwise book is completely intact.
Is it worth anything ?

This site is a way for me to keep track of things I'm working on for Distributed Proofreaders, which produces ebooks for Project Gutenberg. Some of the books listed here have been posted to PG (see the Posted! category), but most are still waiting to be scanned. We don't sell books from this site, but sometimes we sell duplicates or those that have been finished -- usually on eBay. Eventually you will have access on the internet to these books and magazines, but some won't be available for years.
